Rice cakes for Tteokbokgi and Tteokguk

Teokbokgi and Teokguk are the Korean food that uses rice cake as main ingredient. Although the main ingredient is the same, Teokbokgi rice cake is long and thin, while Teokguk rice cake is flat and wide. Especially, it is a must for Koreans to have Teokguk on the Korean New Year. In the past, people had to go to the mill with their rice to make the rice cake and cut it themselves. However, many people buy the rice cake today.
